Texas (USA)
The North Tarrant Express extension (segment 3C) in Texas will extend along 6.7 miles from Heritage Trace Parkway, north of US 81/287 to Eagle Parkway, in Denton County. Existing lanes will be upgraded and will continue to be toll-free, while two tolled managed lanes each way will be built, as well as on-ramps.
Warkworth (New Zealand)
The project will extend the Northern Motorway (SH1) with a length of 18.5 km from the Johnstones Hill Tunnels to just north of Warkworth. It is the first stage of the Ara Tūhono (connecting pathway) project from Pūhoi to Wellsford.The new safer, more resilient route is now expected to be opened to motorists in May 2022.
Bergen (Norway)
Azvi has signed the contract with Bane NOR (Norwegian public railway infrastructure manager) to carry out the rehabilitation of the old Ulriken railway tunnel in Bergen, within a period of 29 months. This tunnel was built in the 1960s and runs parallel to the new Ulriken tunnel.
Riyadh (Saudi Arabia)
ArRiyadh New Mobility Consortium (ANM) was selected to deliver the 41.8Km Line 3 of the Riyadh Metro which will form part of the six-line mega project that will run for a total length of 176Km across the city. ANM is led by Italian construction group Salini Impregilo and includes partners Larsen&Toubro (India), Nesma (Saudi Arabia), Ansaldo STS (Italy), Bombardier (Canada), Idom (Spain) and WorleyParsons (Australia).The new Line 3 is the longest section of the gigantic project of the new metro network of the capital city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Ottawa (Canada)
The route of the new Ottawa Light Rail runs underground for 2,533 meters through the city center. There are three stations: Lyon (West), Parliament (East) and Rideau. As per contract, its scope is not limited to the design and construction of the infrastructure but also the maintenance for 30 years of the 12,5 km of the Confederation line.
Istanbul (Turkey)
The F4 line of Istanbul Metro, officially referred to as the Boğaziçi Üni./Hisarüstü–Aşiyan is an 850 m long funicular railway, currently under construction, in Beşiktaş, Istanbul. When completed, it will become the fourth funicular line in Istanbul as well as the longest, surpassing the F3 line by 100 m. The line will traverse a height difference of about 116.1 m and total travel time is estimated at 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
