Position

Shows the current coordinates in several ways.

UTC Time Indicates Universal Time Coordinated, which is the international standard for measuring time. See glossary.

PDOP: An empirical and non-dimensional indicator on the quality of the position received (Position Dilution of Precision). The lower its value the greater the quality. See glossary.

Position: Indicator on the kind of current position. It varies depending on the GPS receiver model used. Should there only be a single receiver that does not receive any correction signal, the possible values are Not Valid and Autonomous. Otherwise, RTK Float., RTK Fixed and DGPS may be shown.

HP: Horizontal precision of the position received in meters.

VP: Vertical precision of the position received in meters.

Used Sat.: Number of satellites involved in calculating the current position. Satellites belonging to the NAVSTAR constellation are indicated with GPS and those of the GLONASS constellation are indicated with GLO. The latter are only shown if the GPS receiver is equipped accordingly.

Detect. Sat.: Number of satellites detected in the constellations although they may not have been used to calculate the position.
